Ribeye Steak with Vegetable Fried Rice & Two Sauces

A flavor-packed, sizzling dinner plate — great for weeknights, date nights, or whenever you’re craving Asian-inspired steakhouse vibes at home.


Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 1–2 ribeye steaks (about 1″ thick, well-marbled)

  • 1 tbsp coarse kosher salt

  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire (optional marinade)

  • 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil (canola or avocado)

For the Vegetable Fried Rice:

  • 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice (preferably day-old and cold)

  • 2 tbsp sesame or vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup diced onions

  • 1/2 cup diced carrots

  • 1 cup broccoli florets (small)

  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten (optional)

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce or hoisin (optional for depth)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Green onions (for garnish, optional)

For the Dark Soy Dipping Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
