🍳 INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ Prep the Beets
-
Wash beets thoroughly to remove dirt.
-
Cut off the greens and roots, leaving a small piece attached (this prevents the beets from bleeding too much during cooking).
-
You can peel them after cooking — it’s much easier!
2️⃣ Choose Cooking Method
🔥 Method A: Boiling (Most Common & Easy)
-
Place whole beets in a large pot.
-
Add enough water to cover them completely.
-
Add 1 tsp salt.
-
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 35–50 minutes depending on size.
-
Test doneness by piercing with a fork — it should slide in easily.
