Ingredients:

1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)

1 egg

¾ cup milk
-
¾ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

½ cup ketchup (for topping)

1 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tsp mustard (optional, for glaze)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, and seasonings. Mix gently until just combined.

Form into a loaf and place in a baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread evenly on top of meatloaf.

Bake for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.

Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
