Creamy Mashed Potatoes (with skins)
Ingredients:

2 lbs red potatoes, cut into chunks (skins on)

4 tbsp butter
-
½ cup whole milk or cream
-
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:

Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15–20 mins).

Drain and mash with butter and milk until creamy but chunky.
-
Season with salt and pepper. Add more milk for desired texture.
Classic Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:

4 boiled eggs, peeled and halved
-
2 tbsp mayonnaise
-
1 tsp yellow mustard
-
Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste
Instructions:
-
Scoop yolks into a bowl, mash with mayo and mustard.

Add salt and pepper. Spoon or pipe filling into egg whites.
-
Sprinkle with paprika.
Southern-Style Green Beans & Potatoes
Ingredients:

1 can cut green beans (or 1 lb fresh)
-
1 small potato, diced
-
2 slices bacon or ham hock (optional)
-
½ onion, chopped
-
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Instructions:

In a pot, sauté onion and bacon until soft.
-
Add green beans, potatoes, and enough water to cover.
-
Season and simmer for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
Fluffy Southern Biscuits
You can use canned biscuits for convenience, or try this homemade version:
Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 tbsp baking powder
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ cup cold butter, cubed
-
¾ cup cold milk or buttermilk
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F.
-
Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter until crumbly.

Stir in milk, turn onto floured surface, knead gently.
-
Cut biscuits, place on baking sheet, and bake 12–15 mins.
Sweet Iced Tea
Ingredients:

3 black tea bags
-
1 cup sugar
-
6 cups water
Instructions:

Boil 3 cups water, steep tea bags 5–10 mins.
-
Remove bags, stir in sugar until dissolved.
-
Add remaining cold water and refrigerate.
-
Serve over ice with lemon if desired.

Serve two thick slices of meatloaf with a scoop of mashed potatoes, a spoonful of green beans and potatoes, two deviled eggs, one biscuit, and a glass of iced tea. Comfort food at its finest!
