🍰 Grandma’s Cinnamon Swirl Peach Bread

“My grandma used to make this all the time, but it’s been forever since I’ve had it!”

Moist, buttery, and bursting with pockets of sweet peaches and cinnamon, this old-fashioned loaf tastes like childhood. The soft crumb, the warm spice, and the drizzle of vanilla glaze make it absolutely irresistible — perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon coffee break.


Ingredients

For the Bread Batter

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ cup sour cream (or plain yogurt)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup diced peaches (fresh, canned, or frozen—well drained)


For the Cinnamon Swirl

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp softened butter


For the Vanilla Glaze

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

1. Prepare the Pan & Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease and flour a 9×5 loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
