For the Meat Sauce

1 jar (24 oz / 680 g) marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce

1 can (14 oz / 400 g) crushed tomatoes (optional for extra sauce)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp sugar (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pasta

12 oz (340 g) spaghetti noodles

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt for boiling water
Cheese Layers

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup parmesan cheese

Optional: 1 cup provolone or Monterey Jack for extra melt

Step 1 — Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add spaghetti and cook until al dente (usually 8–10 minutes).

Drain, toss with a drizzle of olive oil, and set aside.
Step 2 — Make the Meat Sauce

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
