Introduction:
When holiday tables start filling up with rich casseroles, buttery rolls, and cozy desserts, it’s always nice to have
something fresh, colorful, and light to balance everything out. That’s exactly what this
Red, Green, and Blue Christmas Salad brings to the party. It’s a vibrant fruit salad made with juicy berries,
crisp green fruit, and sweet grapes—then finished with a simple honey-lime dressing that makes every bite taste bright and
refreshing.
The name says it all: red, green, and blue fruits create a holiday look without food coloring, and the flavors naturally
complement each other. It works as a side dish for Christmas breakfast, a brunch potluck contribution, a healthier dessert,
or a fresh “palate cleanser” alongside heavier holiday meals.
This recipe is also easy to adapt. Add whatever fruits are freshest where you live, keep the dressing simple, or turn it into
a creamy version with yogurt. Either way, you get a beautiful bowl of festive color that disappears faster than you’d expect.
Ingredients:
For the fruit salad:
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced (red)
- 1 1/2 cups raspberries (red)
- 2 cups blueberries (blue)
- 2 cups green grapes, halved (green)
- 4 kiwi, peeled and sliced (green)
- Optional: 1 green apple, diced (green crunch)
Honey-Lime Dressing (light + fresh):
- 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

Instructions:
- Prep the fruit.
Wash and dry all fruit. Slice strawberries, peel and slice kiwi, halve grapes if desired, and dice apple if using.
(Drying fruit helps the salad stay fresh instead of watery.) - Mix the dressing.
