Introduction
There’s a reason Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp has been passed down for generations: it’s simple, cozy, and always hits the spot.
Tender apples bake into a warm cinnamon filling while a buttery oat crumble turns golden and crisp on top—creating that perfect contrast
between soft and crunchy. It’s the kind of dessert that makes a house smell like comfort and tastes even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This version is truly classic: no fancy steps, no complicated ingredients—just the right balance of sweet apples, warm spice, and a crumble topping
that bakes up crisp, not soggy. Whether you serve it for Sunday dinner, the holidays, or a random Tuesday when you need something cozy, this is the
apple crisp you’ll keep coming back to.
