Introduction:
If pizza night and taco night had a delicious, over-the-top baby, it would be these
Meat Lovers Pepperoni Pizza Tacos. They’re crispy, cheesy, saucy, and packed with all the bold flavors you
expect from a meat-lovers pizza—pepperoni, sausage, and optional bacon—stuffed inside a taco shell and baked (or air-fried)
until the cheese melts and the edges turn golden.
This recipe is pure fun. It’s perfect for kids, game days, party platters, and weeknights when you want a meal that feels
exciting without a lot of work. You can keep it simple with store-bought pizza sauce and pre-shredded cheese, or level it up
with homemade marinara, fresh mozzarella, and extra toppings.
The best part is how customizable it is. Use flour tortillas for soft “pizza tacos,” corn tortillas for extra crunch, or
crunchy taco shells for maximum crisp. Add mushrooms or peppers if you want veggies, or go full meat-lovers and don’t look
back.
Ingredients:
For the taco shells:
- 10–12 small flour tortillas or hard taco shells
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for crisping)

- 1/2 lb (225g) ground Italian sausage (or breakfast sausage)
- 1/2 lb (225g) ground beef

- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

- 2 to 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar (optional, extra gooey)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
Optional toppings:
- Sliced black olives
- Diced bell peppers
- Sliced mushrooms
- Crushed red pepper
- Fresh basil or parsley
- Ranch or garlic sauce for dipping
Instructions:
1) Cook the meat
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease if needed.
- Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (optional). Set aside.
