  2. Cook steak slices 2–3 minutes per side until nicely charred and cooked to desired doneness.

For the Shrimp:

  1. In the same skillet or grill, cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly charred.

️ Step 4: Assemble

  1. Scoop tropical rice into bowls or plates.

  2. Top with jerk steak and shrimp.

  3. Garnish with extra lime wedges, green onions, cilantro, or a sprinkle of toasted coconut.

Tips & Variations

  • Add a sauce: Serve with mango salsa, avocado crema, or jerk BBQ glaze for extra flavor.

  • Make it mild: Use less cayenne or a mild jerk blend.

  • Grill it: Take it outside for even more smoky flavor on a hot grill.

  • Add beans: Stir in black beans or kidney beans to the rice for added protein and color.

Final Thoughts

This Jerk Steak and Shrimp over Tropical Rice is an explosion of island flavor — the heat of the jerk seasoning balances perfectly with the sweetness of the pineapple-studded rice. It’s a one-plate meal that brings sunshine and spice to your table any night of the week.
