Step‑by‑Step Instructions
-
Prep your cups
Place your plastic shot cups on a tray or cookie sheet (makes transferring into the fridge easier). Entertaining Diva+1 -
Dissolve gelatin
In a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pour the boiling water over the gelatin powder. Stir for about 1–2 minutes until all the gelatin has dissolved. Baking Beauty+2Foodie and Wine+2 -
Add alcohol + cold water
Stir in the Fireball whiskey, then add the cold water (or iced water). Mix thoroughly to combine. The total liquid (whiskey + cold water) should roughly match recommended ratio so the gelatin sets properly. The Cookin Chicks+2Foodie and Wine+2 -
Pour into cups & chill
Carefully pour the mixture into the prepared cups — fill each about ⅔ to ¾ full. Then place in refrigerator. Chill at least 2–3 hours, but preferably 4 hours or overnight for best firmness. The Cookin Chicks+2Fun Money Mom+2 -
Garnish & serve
Before serving you can top with a maraschino cherry, a small dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of candy or sprinkles — whatever vibe you’re going for. Serve cold and jiggly. Fun Money Mom+2Princess Pinky Girl+2 -
