Ingredients
For the Filling
- 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (or diced Roma tomatoes)
- 1 cup mozzarella pearls (or diced fresh mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, thinly sliced (plus more for garnish)
- 1 1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (optional for extra tang)
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Add-Ons
- 1 clove garlic, finely grated (or a pinch of garlic powder)
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- Flaky sea salt for finishing
- 1 tbsp pine nuts or chopped pistachios
