Crack Burgers: Juicy, Cheesy Ranch Bacon Burgers That Everyone Craves

Introduction:

“Crack Burgers” is a popular nickname for burgers that taste so addictive, people keep going back for “just one more bite.”
The flavor combo is simple but powerful: seasoned ground beef mixed with ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar, and crispy bacon,
then cooked until juicy and topped however you like. It’s everything you want in a comfort-food burger—savory, cheesy,
slightly tangy, and packed with smoky bacon flavor.

This recipe is perfect for grilling season, but it also works beautifully on a stovetop skillet or cast-iron pan. The key
is mixing in the right amount of add-ins so the patties hold together, and cooking them gently enough to stay juicy without
drying out. Pair them with toasted buns, crisp lettuce, and a simple sauce (mayo + ketchup, or ranch + hot sauce),
and you’ve got a burger night that feels like a treat.

Ingredients:

For the burger patties:

  • 1 1/2 lb (680g) ground beef (80/20 recommended for juiciness)
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix (plus more to taste if desired)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (adds savory depth)

For serving:

  • 4–6 burger buns, toasted
  • Cheddar slices (optional, for extra melt)
  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles
  • Condiments: mayo, ketchup, mustard, ranch, BBQ sauce

Optional “crack sauce” idea:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prep bacon.
Cook bacon until crisp, then crumble. Set aside. (You can do this ahead.)
  2. Mix the burger meat.
In a large bowl, add ground beef, ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, garlic powder (optional),
pepper, and Worcestershire (optional). Mix gently until just combined.
    Tip: Overmixing makes burgers tough.
  3. Form patties.
