3 (15 oz) cans of baked beans (like Bush’s Original or similar)

5–6 slices bacon (optional, chopped or cooked and crumbled)

1 small green bell pepper, diced

1 small red or orange bell pepper, diced

1 medium onion, chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce & Flavor

1/2 cup ketchup
-
1/4 cup barbecue sauce (smoky or sweet)

2 tbsp yellow mustard or Dijon

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

1–2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Brown the Meat

In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until fully browned. Drain excess fat.

Add sliced sausage and cook together until sausage edges start to brown.

Remove meat from pan and set aside.
