3. Peppermint Cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. Fold in crushed peppermint.
- Pour over the crust and bake for 55-60 minutes. Let cool and top with whipped cream.
4. Peppermint Patties
Ingredients:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Dark chocolate for coating
Instructions:
- Mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and peppermint extract until a dough forms.
- Roll into small balls and flatten into patties, then freeze for 30 minutes.
- Dip each patty in melted dark chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.
5. Peppermint Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
- Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in vanilla and crushed peppermint until melted.
- Serve hot, topped with whipped cream and additional crushed peppermint.
