For the Cheese Mixture

16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup dried cranberries, chopped

½ cup pecans, finely chopped

2–3 green onions, thinly sliced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp honey (optional but recommended)

½ tsp garlic powder
-
¼ tsp onion powder
-
¼ tsp salt
-
⅛ tsp black pepper
For the Coating

½ cup chopped pecans
-
¼ cup chopped dried cranberries
-
1 tbsp chopped parsley

1. Prepare the Cheese Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine:

chopped cranberries

green onions

pecans

parsley
-
honey (optional)

garlic powder

onion powder
-
salt & pepper
Mix with a spatula or beaters until everything is well combined and creamy.
2. Shape into a Ball

Transfer the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap.

Wrap tightly and gently form into a ball shape.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm (overnight is even better).
3. Roll in the Coating
In a shallow bowl, combine:

Remove the chilled cheese ball from the plastic wrap and roll it in the coating until fully covered.
