🎄 Pink-Dipped Gingerbread Cookies

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.

Chilling prevents spreading and deepens the flavor.

2. Shape & Bake

Step 5 — Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 6 — Form Cookies

Scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into balls.

Place on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.

Step 7 — Bake

Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until:

  • The edges look set

  • The centers still look soft

They firm up as they cool!

Cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

🎀 3. Dip & Decorate

Step 8 — Melt the Pink Coating

In a microwave-safe bowl:

  1. Add the candy melts (or white chocolate).

  2. Microwave in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each.

  3. Add a little coconut oil for extra shine.

Step 9 — Dip the Cookies

Dip each cooled cookie halfway into the pink chocolate.

Let excess drip back into the bowl.

Place dipped cookies on parchment.

Step 10 — Add Sprinkles & Decor

Before the coating sets:

  • Add colorful Christmas sprinkles

  • Press a tiny gingerbread man decoration into the pink glaze

  • Add pearls, confetti, sugar stars, etc.

Work quickly—candy melts set fast!

Let cookies set completely (20–30 minutes).

🎁 STORAGE

Room Temperature

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Freezer

Freeze undecorated cookies up to 3 months.
Decorated cookies freeze well too, but sprinkles may bleed slightly.

⭐ TIPS FOR PERFECT RESULTS

✔ Use gel food coloring

If using white chocolate, only use gel colors—liquid coloring can make chocolate seize.

✔ Chill the dough

This ensures thick, bakery-style cookies.

✔ Decorate immediately

Sprinkles stick only while the coating is still wet.

✔ Use high-quality molasses

Unsulfured molasses gives the best gingerbread flavor.
