🍝 Creamy One-Pan Beef & Penne Skillet

A quick, comforting, cheesy pasta dish that becomes everyone’s new favorite dinner.

This recipe is budget-friendly, stress-free, and loaded with flavor. Tender penne pasta, perfectly seasoned ground beef, and a creamy, cheesy sauce come together in one skillet — making cleanup as easy as the cooking!


Ingredients

For the Beef & Veggies

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp salt (more to taste)

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Pasta & Sauce

  • 3 cups cooked penne pasta

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar (optional)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

Optional Add-Ins

  • Red pepper flakes (for heat)

  • Mushrooms

  • Peas

  • Parmesan on top


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Brown the Beef

In a large skillet over medium-high heat:

  1. Cook the ground beef until browned.

  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.

  3. Sauté until vegetables soften.

Drain excess fat.

Season with:

  • Italian seasoning

  • Paprika

  • Salt & pepper

Stir and cook 1 more minute.


2. Build the Creamy Sauce

Reduce heat to medium.

Add:

  • Beef broth

  • Heavy cream

  • Worcestershire sauce

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

Stir well and let it simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.


3. Add the Cooked Pasta
