For the Roses:

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional but recommended)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • A pinch of dried oregano or Italian herbs (optional)

For Finishing:

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

  • Extra grated cheese (optional)


🔪 Instructions

1. Prepare the Puff Pastry

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Lightly flour your counter and gently roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.

  3. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough vertically into 8–12 long strips (depending on how large you want the roses).
