⭐ Soft Ginger Cookies With Vanilla Frosting

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. Gently flatten the tops with your hand — these are soft cookies, not crisp gingersnaps.

  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until edges are set but centers look soft.

  5. Cool completely before frosting.

3. Make the Frosting

  1. Beat butter until creamy.

  2. Add powdered sugar slowly.

  3. Add vanilla and a splash of milk until smooth, fluffy, and spreadable.

  4. Taste and add a tiny pinch of salt if needed to balance sweetness.

4. Frost & Decorate

  1. Spread a generous spoonful of icing over each cooled cookie.

  2. Scatter Christmas sprinkles on top.

  3. Let frosting set for 20–30 minutes before storing.

🎁 Storage

  • Room temperature: 3–4 days in an airtight container

  • Refrigerator: 1 week
