❄️ Polar Bear Paws

Creamy caramel, salty peanuts, and a silky almond-bark coating… these Polar Bear Paws are one of the most delightful, no-bake Christmas treats you can make! They look adorable, require just a handful of ingredients, and taste like a festive candy-shop classic.

Ingredients

For the Caramel Peanut Clusters:

  • 1 bag (11 oz / 311 g) soft caramels

  • 3 Tbsp heavy cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup salted peanuts (whole or roughly chopped)

  • 1 Tbsp butter (to keep the caramel smooth)

For the Coating:

  • 16 oz vanilla almond bark or white chocolate melting wafers

  • Holiday sprinkles (optional but festive)

🧊 Instructions

1. Prepare Your Workspace

Line a large baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
This prevents sticking and makes cleanup easy.

2. Melt the Caramels

In a microwave-safe bowl, add:

  • Caramels

  • Heavy cream

  • Butter

Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each until fully melted and creamy.
(This usually takes 1½–2 minutes depending on your microwave.)

Stir in the vanilla extract once smooth.

3. Add Peanuts

Pour the salted peanuts into the warm caramel mixture and fold gently until fully coated.

4. Form the “Paws”

Using a spoon, drop heaping tablespoons of the caramel-peanut mixture onto the lined baking sheet.
Each spoonful will form the base of a paw.

Leave space between each cluster — they will spread slightly.

Place the tray in the freezer for 10–12 minutes, or until firm enough to dip.

5. Melt the Almond Bark
